The November 13, 2024 Congressional hearing titled "Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena: Exposing the Truth" produced some of the most dramatic UAP testimony to date, with four expert witnesses presenting evidence of government secrecy and potential national security threats.

The joint hearing by the Subcommittee on Cybersecurity, Information Technology, and Government Innovation and the Subcommittee on National Security took place in the Rayburn House Office Building.

Luis Elizondo's Testimony

Former DoD official and author of the bestselling book "Imminent," Luis Elizondo delivered perhaps the most impactful testimony: "Let me be clear: UAP are real. Advanced technologies not made by our Government — or any other government — are monitoring sensitive military installations around the globe."

Elizondo alleged the existence of "a small cadre" within the federal government who have created a culture of suppression and intimidation. He stated he had personally been targeted through "unwarranted criminal investigations, harassment and efforts to destroy one's credibility."

When asked about crash retrieval programs, Elizondo said he could not discuss specifics in an open session due to signed documentation. But when asked directly by Rep. Nancy Mace if there is a government reverse-engineering program, Elizondo answered yes.

Rear Admiral Tim Gallaudet's Account

Retired Rear Admiral Timothy Gallaudet described his own confirmation of UAP reality: "Confirmation that UAPs are interacting with humanity came for me in January 2015." He recounted being part of a naval exercise that produced the famous "Go Fast" video, only to have the email containing the video disappear from his account and those of other recipients "without explanation" the very next day.

As the Navy's chief meteorologist at the time, Gallaudet was responsible for flight safety risks, yet "it appeared to me that no one at the flag officer level was addressing the safety risk posed by UAP."

The Immaculate Constellation Allegation

Journalist Michael Shellenberger shared a document with lawmakers that he described as a whistleblower report about a secret intelligence operation called "Immaculate Constellation," which allegedly uses high-quality imagery and sophisticated tools to capture UAP data.

Michael Gold's Call for Scientific Instruments

Former NASA Associate Administrator Michael Gold argued that studying UAP with "data collected from fighter cockpit cameras, radar from military installations, and cell phones" is insufficient, advocating for purpose-built scientific instruments.
